This work describes the design and implementation of a G-Code Sender for a Milling or Laser CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machine with GRBL firmware. CNC is an essential tool in automated manufacturing, enabling the precise and repeatable creation of parts and products. GRBL is a common choice for controlling CNCs due to its efficiency and ability to process G-Code commands quickly and it is a open source software. The focus of this project is to provide a solution that allows autonomous operation of the CNC, without needing a constant computer connection. To this end, a G-Code Sender interface was developed that reads and processes G-code files directly from a local storage device such as an SD or USB card, and it can also send moving and settings instructions. This increases system flexibility and portability by eliminating connectivity limitations. The project was divided into several stages. Initially, detailed research was carried out on firmware GRBL its hardware requirements and communication protocol. Next, the appropriate electronic components were selected for assembling the G-Code Sender interface, including the ESP32 microcontroller, the user interface with the 7-inch touchscreen display and other HMI (Human Machine Interface) methods. Once selected, the components, the implementation of the hardware and firmware of the interface will be carried out. The results of the project were analyzed and demonstrated to verify the viability and effectiveness of the offline controller. The CNC is able to perform machining operations from the G-Code commands stored on the local storage device, without the need to be connected to a computer.
