A gestão ESG na construção civil: uma cartilha de boas práticas para verificação

Abstract

Em atenção a tendência mundial de buscar o desenvolvimento sustentável e responsável é de suma relevância que a Construção Civil busque adotar estratégias adequadas aos conceitos de gestão ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) a partir disso e da consulta de materiais bibliográficos e pesquisas qualitativas constatou-se a relação e viabilidade de implementação dos conceitos ESG no setor da Construção Civil. Assim, esse trabalho se propõe a apresentar e analisar a Pratica Recomendada 2030 de 2022 e o Procedimento Específico 487 de 2023, ambos elaborados pela Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas e visando o desenvolvimento facilitado de uma jornada de execução e verificação ESG eficiente. Para o alcance desses objetivos, utilizou-se dos métodos de pesquisa antes mencionados, para conceituar a política ESG histórica e politicamente, análise de Estudos de Casos baseados nos Relatórios Anuais de Sustentabilidade divulgados por empresas do setor, apresentação e descrição dos procedimentos e documentos auxiliares necessários à implementação e verificação da política ESG, resultando na elaboração da “Cartilha de Boas Práticas ESG na Construção Civil: Como Verificar” que se propõe o apontamento de boas práticas e ferramentas, como certificações e normativas vigentes, para que seja possível conquistar o objetivo de gestão eficiente na organização.Considering the global trend towards sustainable and responsible development, it is of utmost relevance for the Construction Industry to adopt appropriate strategies aligned with the concepts of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management. Through the consultation of bibliographic materials and qualitative research, the relationship and feasibility of implementing ESG concepts in the Construction Industry were established. Thus, this work aims to present and analyze the Recommended Practice 2030 of 2022 and the Specific Procedure 487 of 2023, both developed by the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards, with the objective of facilitating the efficient implementation and verification of ESG initiatives. To achieve these objectives, the aforementioned research methods used to conceptualize the historical and political aspects of ESG policy, analyze case studies based on the Annual Sustainability Reports published by companies in the sector, present and describe the necessary procedures and supporting documents for the implementation and verification of ESG policy. This resulted in the creation of the "ESG Best Practices Primer for Construction Industry: How to Verify," which aims to provide guidelines for best practices and tools, such as certifications and current regulations, in order to achieve efficient management objectives within the organization.
