O lugar do figurino nos cursos superiores de moda no estado de Santa Catarina

Abstract

O presente artigo busca compreender o lugar que o figurino ocupa nos cursos superiores de moda no estado de Santa Catarina. Para responder à questão, realiza- se uma revisão histórico-reflexiva acerca do surgimento e principais características dos cursos de moda no Brasil, analisa-se os Projetos Pedagógicos dos Cursos de Moda do estado catarinense e levanta-se hipóteses para a baixa oferta do componente curricular de figurino nestes cursos. Ao final, concluímos que o lugar do figurino nos cursos superiores de moda no estado é mínimo, estando à margem do currículo.This article seeks to understand the place that stage costumes occupy in fashion higher education courses in the state of Santa Catarina. To answer the question, a historical-reflective review is carried out about the emergence and main characteristics of fashion courses in Brazil, the Pedagogical Projects of Fashion Courses in the state of Santa Catarina are analyzed and hypotheses are raised for the low supply of the stage costume’s subject in these courses. In the end, we concluded that the place of stage costumes in fashion higher education courses in the state is minimal, remaining on the fringes of the curriculum.
