Caracterização do professor de física da rede pública de ensino médio no Vale do Araranguá - SC

Abstract

A física é um conteúdo de grande relevância dentro e fora das escolas, considerando-se sua capacidade de explicar uma série de ocorrências das mais diversas desde o nascer do sol até os graves acidentes de trânsito. Diante disso, é essencial que tal conteúdo seja abordado de uma forma clara, objetiva, visando facilitar sua compreensão e levar os educandos a não apenas decorar fórmulas, mas a compreender o que, de fato, a física significa em suas vidas. Face a grande importância da física no cotidiano, trabalho e vida acadêmica dos indivíduos, o presente trabalho foi desenvolvido com o intuito de verificar como encontra-se a demanda por professores de física na região que envolve as cidades do sul de Santa Catarina (AMESC), e de que forma essa demanda vêm sendo atendida. Para tanto, procedeu-se de pesquisa bibliográfica para desenvolver a base teórica e levar a melhor compreensão do tema de estudos, além de uma pesquisa quantitativa junto a Gerência Estadual de Educação de Araranguá – SC, visando obter dados específicos da região. Identificou-se que tanto na região da AMESC como em todo país, a realidade é que o número de profissionais habilitados em física e que de fato buscam atuar na área é menor do que a necessidade por esses profissionais. Como estratégia para eliminar os problemas advindos desse déficit, em todo o país profissionais formados em outras áreas acabam sendo contratados para atuar com professores de física, levando a compreensão de que esta medida é valiosa para que os alunos não sejam prejudicados, principalmente aqueles da rede pública, porém, deve ser uma medida apenas paliativa e temporária. Para que o problema seja solucionado de forma efetiva, é preciso incentivar a formação e permanência de tais profissionais no mercado de trabalho.Physics is a very relevant content inside and outside the schools, considering its ability to explain a number of occurrences of the most diverse, since the Sunrise until the occurrence of serious traffic accidents. Given this, it is essential that such contents are discussed in a clear, objective way, to facilitate the understanding and take the students to not only memorize formulas, but to understand what, in fact, the physics meaning in their lives. In the face of the great importance of Physics in everyday life, work and academic life of individuals, the present work was developed in order to check how is the demand for physical teachers in the region of AMESC, and how this demand has been met. To do so, bibliographic search was carried out to develop the theoretical basis and lead to better understanding of the subject of study, plus a field research along the GERED Araranguá-SC, aiming at obtain region-specific data. It was identified that both, in the region of AMESC as in all the country, the reality is that the number of professionals trained in physics and who actually seek to act in the area is less than the need for these professionals and thus there is a deficit that could generate difficulties for the high school students. As a strategy to eliminate the problems arising out of this deficit, throughout the country trained professionals in other areas are being hired to work with teachers of physics, leading to understanding that this measure is valuable for students are not harmed, however, must be only palliative and temporary measure. So the problem is solved effectively, it is necessary to encourage the formation and permanence of such professionals in the labour market.
