Estudo das manifestações patológicas de água de chuva na interface alvenaria/esquadria na região de Criciúma

Abstract

A região de Criciúma está localizada próxima à faixa litorânea e apresenta baixa altitude, permitindo a entrada de correntes marítimas, que são impedidas de avançar para o interior do estado, devido a serra geral, causando assim acúmulo de umidade na região, favorecendo a precipitação. Essa por sua vez quando direcionada pelo vento forma a chuva dirigida, sendo um dos fenômenos causadores de manifestações patológicas nos sistemas de vedação vertical externo e mais especificamente na interface esquadria/alvenaria. Com isso, o presente artigo visa identificar, analisar e relacionar as manifestações patológicas de infiltração do contorno do vão de esquadrias, em 03 edificações na região de Criciúma. Para isso foram realizados: revisão bibliográfica acerca do tema, vistorias in loco, identificando as patologias existentes, posteriormente foi realizada análise dos projetos arquitetônicos dos edifícios. Verificou-se que todos os edifícios em estudo, apresentavam manifestações patológicas de infiltração de água no contorno do vão de esquadrias e que elas apresentavam semelhanças entre si. Percebeu-se também que há semelhanças correlatas para as possíveis origens e causas destas patologias. Dessa forma foi possível concluir que a maior parte das manifestações patológicas estudadas estão relacionadas a 03 fatores: ausência de detalhamento arquitetônico do peitoril, normativas incompletas e ausência de manutenção.

The region of Criciuma is located near the coastal zone and also has a low sea-level altitude, facilitating the entry of maritime currents. These currents are prevented from advancing further inland due to the general mountain range, causing an accumulation of moisture in the region, thereby promoting precipitation. This precipitation, when directed by the wind, leads to directed rain, being one of the phenomena responsible for pathological issues in the contours of window openings. With this in mind, the present article aims to identify, analyze, and correlate the pathological manifestations of infiltration around window openings in three buildings in the Criciúma region. To achieve this, a literature review on the subject was conducted, followed by on-site inspections to identify the existing pathologies. Subsequently, an analysis of the architectural designs of the buildings was carried out. It was found that all the buildings under study exhibited pathological manifestations of infiltration around window openings, and these manifestations showed similarities among them. It was also observed that there are correlated similarities in the possible origins and causes of these pathologies. Thus, it was possible to conclude that the majority of the studied pathological manifestations are related to three factors: absence of architectural detailing of the sill, incomplete regulations/standards and lack of maintenance.
