Design thinking como possível abordagem no processo criativo em alunos com deficiência intelectual

Abstract

A presente pesquisa teve como objetivo apresentar o uso do design thinking, como abor- dagem colaborativa no processo criativo dos alunos com deficiência intelectual. Acredita-se que o emprego desta abordagem possibilita o aumento da autonomia do aluno. Nesse contexto são apre- sentadas as etapas do design thinking a serem utilizadas no processo educativo, levando em consi- deração as limitações e comportamentos dos alunos analisados. Os resultados permitiram identificar um acréscimo na criatividade e uma melhor socialização do deficiente intelectual. Por esta razão, propõe-se o design thinking como uma abordagem colaborativa em alunos portadores de deficiên- cia intelectual.The present paper propose the use of the “design thinking” as a collaborative approach at the education of mentally retarded students. We belive that the use of this approach increases the student's autonomy as a creator. Therefore, this work aims to present the stages of the “design think- ing” to be used during the learning process, without letting to consider the limitations and behaviors of the analized students. The results shown an increase in the creativity, and a better socialization of the mentally ill student. For this reason, the “design thinking” is proposed as a collaborative approach with students who have intellectual disabilities.
