Resumo
Este Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso apresenta o desenvolvimento de um suporte para brinquedos recheáveis do tipo Kong Classic, amplamente utilizados no enriquecimento ambiental de cães. A proposta surgiu da observação de dificuldades enfrentadas por tutores durante o preparo e o congelamento do brinquedo, como instabilidade, vazamentos e falta de compatibilidade com diferentes tamanhos. Com base nos métodos XDM e MD3E, o projeto seguiu etapas de identificação de oportunidades, análise de similares, definição de requisitos, geração de alternativas, seleção da melhor solução, modelagem técnica e prototipagem. Foram aplicadas pesquisas com usuários, testes com diferentes tamanhos do brinquedo, além de análises de usabilidade e ergonomia. O resultado é um produto funcional, estável, fácil de higienizar e compatível com todos os tamanhos do Kong Classic, oferecido em duas versões de suporte para contemplar diferentes portes de cães. A solução desenvolvida demonstrou desempenho superior aos produtos similares do mercado e apresenta potencial de produção em escala por injeção termoplástica. O projeto oferece inovação ao segmento pet, contribuindo para uma experiência mais prática e segura para tutores e animais.
This work presents the development of a support for the Kong Classic treat-dispensing toy, widely used in canine environmental enrichment. The proposal arose from observing difficulties faced by dog owners during the preparation and freezing of the toy, such as instability, leakage, and lack of compatibility with different sizes. Based on the XDM and MD3E methods, the project followed the steps of opportunity identification, analysis of similar products, definition of requirements, generation of alternatives, selection of the best solution, technical modeling, and prototyping. User research, testing with different toy sizes, and usability and ergonomics analyses were conducted. The result is a functional, stable, easy-to-clean product, compatible with all sizes of the Kong Classic, and offered in two support versions to suit different dog sizes. The developed solution demonstrated superior performance compared to similar products on the market and has potential for large-scale production through thermoplastic injection molding. The project offers innovation to the pet segment, contributing to a more practical and safe experience for both owners and animals.
