The research problem was: How to develop a conventional cocoefficient concrete that emits less CO₂ in the atmosphere, using biomass ash? It is justified by reducing the consumption of Portland cement (CP) in concrete production, thus reducing the extraction and consumption of natural resources and reducing the environmental impacts generated. The reduction in CP consumption also reduces the emission of CO₂ into the atmosphere, the main pollutant emitted in the production of clinker, a fundamental component of the, thus being considered an ecoefficient concrete. The overall objective of the work is to develop a concrete replacing part of the cement with biomass ash, which is an industrial waste. Forty-four traits were performed with partial replacement of CP by biomass ash, in the percentages of 0%, 5%, 10% and 15%. In addition, the materials used were characterized. Axial compression tests were performed in order to evaluate the influence of the incorporation of biomass ash in the concrete researched. Finally, an analysis of the ecoefficiency of the traits produced was performed using CO2 emission data obtained in the literature. The results obtained were satisfactory, with reduction of cement consumption and reduction of CO₂ emission with partial replacement of cement by Biomass Ash, with the CB15 trace as the most efficient, with excellent resistance, lowest cement consumption and lower CO₂ emission.
